Lagoon Trip, May 9th!

This year to qualify for Lagoon, the following requirements must be met. Students, get started on this list because Lagoon Day is just around the corner!
- (*6th graders only*_) Must show proof of residency-parent bring mail showing current address, some have this done already_
- All required immunizations must be complete-text sent to parents, note given to student
- No U (unsatisfactory) or N(needs improvement) citizenship grades in any class-you can see this on PowerSchool-need help logging in? Contact the office
- All lunch money needs to be paid-no outstanding balances-you can view this on PowerSchool or ask lunch lady
- All school fees paid-parent will be notified by text if any FEE is owed (this does not include lunch $)
- No missing library books-check with librarian

Teacher of the month-Ms. Fife!

Ms. Fife is an inspirational teacher. She models the collaborative practices of the PLC model supporting developing teachers. She has amazing classroom management and develops meaningful relationships with her students. Plus, she’s really funny.
Student of the month-Finnley Gilbert!

Finnley knows what it means to have Preston PRIDE! He is friendly, kind and respectful. He is up for any challenge and has had many successes as a student.
Employee of the month-Mrs. Rawlins!

Evelyn hit the floor running this school year being a long-term sub for computer and Adobe classes. She has more than fulfilled her responsibilities of managing the classroom and teaching curriculum. This year would not have worked without her. She is well loved and very apprecaited.
